This Data Deletion Policy explains how FunStream users can request deletion of their personal data, including requests that do not require deleting the full account.
Request account or data deletion
Email FunStream support with the subject line FunStream Data Deletion Request. You can request deletion of your full account or specific personal data without deleting your account.
Email FunStream Support1. How to Request Data Deletion
Users may request deletion of some or all of their FunStream data by contacting FunStream support.
- Your FunStream username
- The email address or phone number linked to your account
- A clear description of the data you want deleted
Examples of data you may request to delete include profile information, uploaded photos or videos, chat content, challenge content, notification tokens, and other account-related data.
2. Account Deletion
Users may delete their full FunStream account inside the mobile app by:
- Opening My Profile
- Selecting Delete Account
- Confirming the deletion request
When an account is deleted, FunStream deletes or anonymizes personal account data associated with that account, including profile data, uploaded media, messages, challenge data, wallet data where legally possible, and Firebase Authentication account information.
3. Data We Delete
Depending on the request, FunStream may delete:
- Account profile information, such as username, bio, profile image, email, or phone number
- Uploaded photos, videos, and challenge media
- Chat messages and user-generated content
- Push notification tokens
- Challenge participation data
- Wallet and payout information, where deletion is legally and operationally permitted
4. Data We May Keep
Some data may be retained when required for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, dispute resolution, or moderation purposes.
- Payment, withdrawal, or transaction records
- Fraud prevention and security logs
- Reports, moderation records, and enforcement history
- Records required to comply with legal obligations
5. Retention Period
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days.
Some safety, moderation, legal, payment, or fraud-prevention records may be retained for up to 90 days or longer if required by law, payment processors, tax obligations, dispute resolution, or platform safety requirements.
6. Verification
Before deleting data, FunStream may need to verify that the person making the request owns the account. We may ask for information such as the username, email address, phone number, or other account details.
